Elon Musk continues to bring up a pickup truck as one of the next three vehicles the company plans to produce for sale. The closer one looks at an electric Tesla pickup truck the more sense it starts to make.
While Ford Motor Company hasn’t divulged many details on the new 2.7L EcoBoost V6 that will power the 2015 Ford F150 but based on some of the minor details offered, we can make a few guesses as to what to expect – including the fact that the next generation F150 with the 2.7L EcoBoost will almost certainly be the most efficient half ton pickup sold in America.

General Motors has announced that the pricing of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 pickups will go up by as much as $1,500 – making the most expensive option in the half ton truck market even pricier.
Just months after the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra half ton pickups began hitting dealerships around the country; General Motors has announced a voluntary recall of some 21,721 new trucks because the front seats could move in the event of a hard rear end collision.
General Motors announced earlier that the new 6.2L V8 powering the top of the line 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra will offer best in class horsepower and best in segment torque so it should come as no surprise that these new half ton trucks can tow more than any of the competition – but what is impressive is that fact that the 6.2L V8 can also deliver 21 miles per gallon.
